Are Bosses fun?
Just finished Lords of the Fallen after 70+hrs of trying to collect what I can before finally deciding to try out another good Soulsborne.

In that game (to anyone who has played), I found the bosses mediocre (with the exception of the first major boss). I just wanted to know if the bosses in Lies of P have any Malenia level of challenge or are fun in general.

P.S. I thought there was a Demo before...

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Bought the game, 4hrs in as of this writing and in Area 3. Bosses are indeed better and patterns are good (No skill spamming like in LoTF). Oh and Parry actually does something that I prioritize it far better than Dodging. This made me go Greatswords when I always try to be a "Mage Knight"

Most of bosses are truly differents.
There are 2 remixed bosses.

There is a Malenia' one. She called Laxasia (almost at the end of the game, but she's such badass)
There are annoying bosses such brotherhoods' rabbits.

But most of them has patterns and can be beaten with parries or avoids.

I played around 150 hrs of Lords of the Fallen before jumping into Lies of P and am near 30 hrs in here. So far the bosses have been more of a challenge than any in LotF except maybe Elianne. Saying that LotF I played like Dark Souls, as in two hander and dodge, here in Lies of P I'm playing more like in Sekiro, where's parrying is more satisfying.

So yes, the bosses are a lot of fun and a challenge imo.

The bosses are one of the things this game did very well.
They are fun and challenging and NO GANK BOSS here.

I didn't like LOTF and the bosses were a huge factor in that.

Well the demo is no longer available. I guess cause they have adjusted quite a few mechanics in the full release and it wouldn't be comparable now.

Absolutely. This game understands how to do bosses. They are mostly 1 v 1 fights (bar 2 silly gank fights that are bad but not too bad) and they are rarely so big that you need to run underneath and hack away at feet where you cant see what the hell the boss is doing. Fantastic stuff and frankly I hope elden ring dlc or whatever the next souls game is takes a leaf our 2 out of this games book.

My condolences, yeah the bosses in that game are trash/mediocre some kinda cool at least.

Lies of P requires you to learn every boss fight, if you enjoy the experience of challenging boss fights this game provides. Any on Malenia's level... I didn't have trouble with any boss to that point but ER was my first souls so hard to say.

What would you know, you only did the first few.
Nothing quite hits melania level but I'd say a few hit the level of the late game elden ring bosses like maleketh and hourah loux and radagon. Specifically laxasia and nameless puppet are quite challenging and fun.

The game's two "gank" fights aren't actually ganks. Only one actively fights you at a time and the other is more of a stage hazard that will only really threaten you if you happen to walk close to them.

Lmao watched them on youtube. Why doesn't the op just go watch them on youtube too then? Because he obviously wants opinions from people that have actually played them. Watched them on youtube :lunar2019laughingpig:

Yes. The imo the bosses are all fun. There is no boss I "dread" fighting like Micolash where I feel like - not this ♥♥♥♥ again.

Update: Thanks once again for recommending this game, just beaten it and got true ending, I had a ton of fun with the bosses. Surprisingly had a massive difference in experience as compared to other players:

1) Andreus aka That One Winged Angel - Took 2 attempts, I heard he was nerfed
2) Laxasia aka Lightning Lady - Took a single attempt because I was used to using Perfect Guard Grindstone and deflected lightnings by coincidence (lol!)
3) Nameless Puppet - Took 3 attempts, once patterns have been memorized, very very good boss fight!
4) Fckin Simon - Took 20 attempts! wow, this boss is so annoying, the animations are so random and spell spamming is so cheesy

Motivity build all the way and only used Dancer Handle + Sawblade
