Trinity Key of the Chosen

So, i may have run into a quest-breaking glitch... i'm currently in the last Trinity Sanctum. However, there's nothing to interact with, and I'm learning online that there was supposed to be dialogue on entry, but I'm not getting the dialogue, and the puppet body inside is just jerking about with no option of interaction. The only thing I might have done to cause it was I missed actually opening one of the other doors - specifically the Opera House door - but I already had all the keys to do so. I did go back to open it, but... no dice, still can't get any interaction out of the last one.

Trying to avoid any actual spoilers here as best I can.

Hmm, i didn't really open any other doors before going in there (maybe 1 or 2, but that was a long time ago) and i failed at some of the riddles too so i couldn't, yet that questline completed normally for me.
Maybe you missed a step in that questline, since Venigni is involved with this, but i couldn't tell you what exactly i did and you maybe didn't, or maybe we both did and yours is just bugged.

Are there even any other steps in that questline? Isn't it just 5 riddles, 5 keys, 5 doors?

No the riddles themselves aren't really a questline.
It unlocks a way to complete another quest line though (once you unlocked the last trinity room with the Trinity Key of the chosen).
There is a piece of lore you can pick up in Lorenzini Arcade wich should kickstart this process (since the first step is literally to speak to Venigni which i think you have to anyways).

I think I know what lore bit with Venigni you're talking about. It's a very specific bit about his childhood, his experience with puppets, and his motivation for instilling the Grand Covenant, right? I already had that bit of dialogue pop up, so that's most likely not the issue. The only thing I could think of was that I didn't get the last Trinity Key (i failed the 'ergo/bruise' riddle, as I'm sure a lot of people do) and didn't pick up the 'recovery' key from the statue before opening the last door. Maybe that's what the issue is?

With the statue do you mean the one at the Grand Exhibition? Where you need to solve that small puzzle so that the two outside statue's point towards the middle?
That just gives you a normal trinity key.
I jumped in game and apparently i got all the riddles right, since i could/can open all doors (i'm just missing the one in the cathedral and i still got 1 key).
So maybe the problem is that you got the Ergo/Bruise riddle wrong and that botched the quest line.

No, the first one you get wrong, he directs you to the Opera House to get a 'replacement' key for the one he would otherwise have given you for that question. It sends you to the gold statue in the section that requires you to drop off the beam beneath the swinging chandelier, just before the boss for that chapter. It's where you use the apple. I forgot to claim that key before I opened the 'chosen' door.

Ah alright sorry then i can't really help you as i haven't gotten that question wrong and therefore never had to get that replacement key.
I hope someone else experienced the same thing so they maybe able to help you.
