vitality 25

I'm at level 81.
one sword attack is all what takes to kill me :) doesn't matter how much life I got, full or low.
This and rely on dodging in general and blocking her downward thrust after the lightning bolts.
You can do it.
Also use acid grindstone. It melts her HP.
Just forget deflect. I beat her yesterday in NG+ and i dont think i deflected one move.
Prepare:
- Learn moveset a bit so you identify how to avoid damage.
- Use specter, use cube with heal for specter
- Respec P-organ and choose increase throwables effect, amount and slots to equip.
- Make sure you wear best armor with the highest reduction rates.
- Best armor is heavy so make sure capacity is pumped so you are light, not slightly heavy or heavy. Light will regenerate stamina way faster. You will need it.
- Respec to vitality, capacity and advance.
- Make sure to use Black Steel Cutter Blade and alter handle to advance.
This build and weapon carved away her health bar at level 80.
Fight:
- Let the specter take damage and only hit her from behind with as much R2 and special attacks.
- If she comes to you instead of the specter, move towards the specter so the specter attacks her and then run behind her to hit her.
- Don' use throwables in first phase.
- Specter needs to survive first phase. You need to have some flasks left.
- In phase 2 she starts with firing lightning. The specter will immediately run towards her. At this time, run behind the specter so Lax targets the specter not you. She will land on the specter. Only go behind her and hit her as much as you can.
- She will frequently fly up in the air and target the specter. Only throw something when she is on the ground or in the air (but make sure you throw when she doesnt move).
- Throw everything you got, with the right build and P-organs, this can be a lot. It will eat away her health in phase 2.
- When she targets you, run away to the specter or dodge as long as the specter lives.
If the specter dies, you need to be more than halfway phase 2. Otherwise you will not make it.
I tried this with this advance build and specter to learn her moveset, but the 2nd try she was already dead. I tried her with a dex build with Winter rapier but that didn't do any damage at all.
thanks.
the specter maybe only did dies on me once on all my tries on the second phase. I never throw any item in phase 1, all of them in phase 2.
will need to switch weapon yeah, but not sure about how to redo everything in p-organ.
thanks.
So since youre asking for tips and i've just beaten her last night here we go
1) perfect guard all lightning bolts, they deal damage to her instead of you
2) change your p organs and levels just for this one signle boss fight so you can beat it. redistributing your strenght accordingly to current situation is a tactic
3) dont forget to change your gear to increase resistance your the bosses attacks, including defence against slash damage
4) check on the internet if you havent missed some defence parts from venigni collection boxes
5) use aegis shield, helps a lot
6) use special grinder to reduce tthe damage you take while guarding by 50% (it's the yellow special grinder)... or use the purple one to perfect guard all attacks for a short while
7) use p organ to have 2 uses of special grinder, and another to increase their duration
8) use the p organ the speed up the cube's use animation so you can use it effectively in battle
8) use the specter
9) use the cube's wishtones that make specter stronger, draw attention from the boss or any that you prefer
10) abuse a glitch exploit. equip Aegis shield arm. In fight: Hold legion arm button, spam perfect guard button. The glitch is: all attacks are perfect guarded for as long as aegis shield is active and perfect guard button is being clicked fast enough
I personally recommend talents to take less damage while dodging, and all of the talents that make you stronger when you're discharged. That way when you run out of heals, the fight doesnt end. it begins. (and prefer ammount of health restored by single cell, instead of increased number of cells)
good luck or shame on you if you cheat :D
lmao, how to cheat? xD
thanks for the comment.
I think I need to practice aegis cus I found it very useless, tried it before, tried it on this fight too, totally useless for me, but gotta try more. especially that glitch u mention, never heard of it.
about the P-organ, how to change them? I see the option to use previous set, but how to save or change?
go to the golden tree, after collecting the fruit, interact with it again. on the second time there will be option to reset your... ANYTHING. i did it myself. i needed to change my stats to get 35 vitality (i think health is called vitality..) for this boss fight
also you can go to the statue that is located a short way in front of the champin victor's boss room. you have to FIRST find this room, before you can change your levels, talents, and legion arms.

here you go, this video will show you where the room is.
i never used the aegis shield before this fight either :D i was just holding the shield up, blocking with it like a coward... i was not trying to parry with it by the fable button.. i could never get the timing right.
i really recommend the yellow grinder. reducing the damage you take while guarding attacks. suddenly i felt like she deals NO damage :D
You claim that she does too much damage, what armor are you wearing? Looking at your capacity, it's quite low. Mine was 26-27 or so when I fought her. I recommend getting your capacity up to at least 25 or whatever value is needed to get the next tier of armor, or even the tier beyond that.
People are underestimating how much armor matters in Lies of P. Skumnut did stream the game and he had over 300 deaths, I had maybe 30-40 including gravity deaths and he's in a complete different tier than me when it comes to souls games because he's actually good enough to make a living by doing challenge runs. Still, because he had ♥♥♥♥-tier armor due to no capacity and low stamina regen he got mauled by bosses that I ran through first try, or 3 tries max.
A high capacity/max armor user vs a mid-capacity/mid armor user differs in tankiness as much as a SL1 naked dude does vs a 731 full bullgoat. I can tank 7-8 hits from every enemy including bosses (never less than 5-6 unless super attacks), therefore healing is much more chill.
Imo, this game is more stat and armor than skill based compared to any FS game. Defense matters more than attack, not the other way round.
You can get away with light armor in DS1-3 and Elden Ring because the difference is relatively subtle and only really relevant for high level PVP. In Lies of P, the difference is like night and day even for regular play, getting defeated by 3 attacks vs 7-8 just because of your armor is simply not something you're used to see in From Software titles.
Anyway, Laxasia is my favourite boss in this game, her long sword combo and lightning from the top are just too much fun to block. I love her moveset all around, it's very vast and diverse, both phases are great and she's definitely very fair.
