This is him flexing about how good he is in video games? On the other thread he talks about how he likes struggling with a boss for hours, days, even weeks. My takeaway was that he has high perseverance, which he obviously needs.
This how i feel as well. I mostly used him as a tool to observe with and have maybe apply a condition before going bye bye.
Now i have to ban myself from ever using him because the spectre is such a dam crutch now.
No broken builds or magic/ranged cheese. Only 1 potential AI companion for bosses vs being able to summon 3 other players to walk you through every inch of the game. Lies of P is the most hardcore souls game in a while apparently.
I hope it did well for them, but I wouldn't be so sure. You disapprove exactly what? 100K copies? Looks to me like rookie numbers. Budget still unknown, how can you predict gross profit?
How many players that bought the game at 60€ asked for a refund? I cannot find the number online, but I guess it won't be small (during the first 3 days), or is the 5M counted with refunds already?
After 2 weeks, the game is not even in Steam Top 20 anymore (currently #26 on top sellers by revenue). I found that weird if you followed the hype. You are right, the hype worked, but only for a few days. Take Baldurs gate 3: still #5 in this chart, how many weeks after release? More than 5 million copies sold on Steam with a budget between 100 and 200 M. The budget for Lies of P is not revealed, why exactly is that you think?
I agree that with this game the studio entered the good games arena, but they mainly copied everything. You think that is a coincidence after their first banger of a flop? No, they want to capitalize on the Elden Ring hype train and have some certainty on revenue. I know it is a far stretch, but I think in a year it will be clear that the amount of money it generated was lower than they expected overall, compared to other studios with a great game and the same budget.
And my point still stands, nerfing was done for sales numbers, not to balance the game because of impossible difficulty. To me it is only nerfed to have less players quit and refund, grow the player base as it will be more appealing to more players and generate more money on the long term. It will not be because this studio and devs changed their mind 3 days after release and changed what is in essence, the core of their game, because they did not notice anything during development. The game is too well made to believe that.
Specter should be mandatory until you beat boss like 5 times
I hope it will be buffed soon
See how dumb that sounds? That's you, It's opposite, but equally silly.
Nobody is impressed by you not using in-game mechanics. If you want to impress someone, idk, maybe play with Guitar Hero controller or dance mat. Maybe play it ACTUALLY blindfolded. That would be impressive.
By trying to shame others for playing the game in a different way, you just sound like a dork-ass loser with no real life.
I actually feel you miss out something if you not at least try in an honest way, but thats just how i see the world.
Play the game the way you want.
Thus spake the dude who's made multiple topics reminding us all that his peers envy his ability to play difficult games, and that the rest of us are doing it wrong.
So, wait, they can't judge you, but you can judge them?
Someone stop the ride; I'd like to get off now.

I bet you use throwables too.
I don't know how you sleep at night... your family must be so ashamed.
If you play on easy mode to learn nothing about bosses , it dosen't mean you have to encourage people to play with brain closed
the weakest thing in this thread is your garbled english .. right after the sad git gud trolling
