Where's the Mac Version on Steam?

I just saw this game was in the Mac App store an it has great reviews, and praise for how well it runs on Apple Silicon. So I came here to check it out only to find the Mac version isn't on here. Is it because most Mac users aren't using Steam? I don't know how to tell all the numbers, but I do know 1.5% is not the entire Mac audience, just what's on steam.

It makes me wonder how many other games I've looked at one here that say they don't support Mac but actually do.

It’s only on the App Store for Mac, not sure steam is getting the Mac version

If you look in the FAQ section of the lies of P website, it mentions that they are looking to bringing the Mac version to steam in the near future.

"Near future" can have a lot of meanings, but I'm patient. My wife and I are so into BG3 that Lies of P can wait a bit. And I have it on GamePass if I want to try it out in the meantime.
