Missing a riddle and go back , breaks the sequence

i went back to the first one, after had the 2nd riddle solved, i got now the question from riddle 3 - makes no sence, therefore i missing one key now

Imho it's a bit buggy right now. In theory your main quest progress determines if a phone rings.
I failed one answer and never got the last riddle.
