Free the easy mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its been found, its now available for unlocking.

Right now keeping it locked just means console experience is objectively worse because it lacks a choice.

Yeah I just did the swamp boss in NG+ and lost all 7 of my pulse cells before it's first phase took 10% damage (Two Dragon Sword is a drug). Still won in that attempt. Probably got 4-5 more heals in and just did a lot of damage when I had openings and sometimes when I didn't and I just traded and gambled on puppet string jump attack.

I thought it was about 30-40%, but yeah it felt really good, you could miss some dodges and Perfect parries and still win. About what an easy mode is supposed to feel like.
I don't get it.
Play however do you want, it's your game, wouldn't be the same experience and the same reward feeling to beat a "difficult" game but do what you want to do
What is your point creating a threat here?
Look at his post history its purely out of copium.

So much mega sponge that they go down in like 1 minute or less once you have the fight down. If you REALLY have the fight down and use two dragons swords, you can get through some boss fights in like 20 seconds. Then you can buff your weapon for almost double damage and a status ailment for free with the grindstones.

Also you can dodge fury attacks (red attacks) by just getting out of the way. That's pretty easy against many of them if you just hold away and sprint when you see em turn red BUT even if you don't, it's fine. You might die in 3 big hits on NG if you don't heal but healing is near instant and you're healing item recharges.

Like, even on NG+ which is harder, I'm still just face tanking plenty of attacks trying to get the timing for two dragons sword parries. Just took down opera house boss and ate all 4 red attacks I saw during the fight and still made it through. Only 2 of the last 3 bosses in the game can really tear you apart in seconds and they are fittingly at the very end of the game.

Also theres a talisman that lets you i-frame dodge fury attacks and a p-organ upgrade that lets you block them and a grindstone that lets you block them (it actually just makes all blocks perfect parries for a time) and several fable arts that block them and aegis legion arm that blocks them and a p-organ bonus that reduces the damage fury attacks do (pretty considerably).

And thats all without specters or throwing items which are both incredibly overpowered on their own.

I don't have a problem with you playing easy mode but every time you do these bait topics in one of these games you make it sound like the games demand perfection and it just sounds like you are playing a different game entirely. I don't want other perspective players to read that and think it's the case. This game can be hard but usually if you lose a boss fight, it's not because you made 1 or 2 mistakes, it's because you made like 25 or made 3-4 mistakes in a row.

And I still see you parroting the same garbage about all action rpgs are soulslikes now even though only like 5 studios actually make them, most of which are indie. If you really want to complain, complain that star ocean 6 was ass and tales of arise was quite weak too. The two biggest normal action rpg franchises have fallen apart and that has nothing to do with soulslikes and ironically everything to do with mobile games if you pay attention to what those studios actually put resources into.
I'll save you the time the OP isn't worth talking to he's been complaining since the demo and any form of logic you use will be met with "Get gud or get lost mantra" If he gets desperate he'll compare this game to the fastest pitch ever thrown.

Like how he's just projecting his insecurity onto others.
I know and again he's not just been complaining about this game. He's been doing this for years on every soulslike game. I do not believe he is genuine. it. It is certainly trolling, but I still feel some need to debunk things that other people might read and believe.

Easy mode is very much in the game. Throwables/summon/aegis shield. I mean seriously with the aegis shield you can back up. Hold the block button and just keep attacking as you do. watch most bosses melt.

Anyone who said there wasn't an easy mode on release is lying to themselves. Mods exist now, yeah - but cheats have always existed.

And honestly - cheats where intentionally fun vs "I just want to beat this without trying"; you know, stuff like "Big Head" mode or "Rainbow Blood" + "Zombie Enemies" in Jet Force Gemini was a favorite combo of mine.

And to those who would say "they are not the same, one is cheating and the other is just changing the difficulty", I raise you "Why are you only ever immediately going to god mode vs just getting yourself 30 levels to balance it out?" With every souls game since DS1 on PC (og release) - my mentality has been :
- Beat the game 1 time plain
- NG+ unlocks infinite stamina / visual mods (aka ENBs and HQ texture overhauls where applicable); aka how some older games used to give you things for beating them (Castlevania is an example; FIREBALL as a name in Circle of the Moon)
- NG++ forward adds inf magic or effect timers and mods that change gameplay

Keeps 'em fun and fresh; NIOH 2 on NG++ for example is great when you spend 5 minutes using buff spells, only to think your invincible and get 2 shot by some random ass Kappa :kodama:

You bought the game. How you choose to play it then is entirely up to you.

That being said, if you cheat and think you did it legit like the rest of us, then you're going to be dragged through the mud.

I'd argue most would just roll a new character and build to keep things fresh. Infinite stamina just makes combat a joke since you don't have to worry about rolling away with enough stamina. Cheats or mod are good to use after beating vanilla.

Ive said this before, Steelrising lets you do this as part of the settings menu and you just give up a couple achieves.

Actually because this isnt official and needs an unlocker , someone who plays with this, actually gets all achieves. So yeah...

The only reason I made this post is because is that it should be available for everyone and not just people with PC's that know to download the unlocker.

And it was very likely sent out to some or maybe even all reviewers.

I dropped this post over a month ago, but necro trolls cant let stuff go.

This is a joke right? Why on earth would anyone want an easy mode? There are a metric fk ton of easy mode games out there.

Says the guy who makes things up and keeps projecting his insecurities. Also it isn’t a necro you just let this game live rent free in your head since it’s been out for over a month.

Some would - yeah, but then you don't have boss weapons you got in NG. If you mean they will respec in NG+ however, they still may have problems getting back to Hotel Krat possibly for the tree depending on if they remember how to down Parade Master (since there is no summon to help).

And you might be surprised; stamina is certainly a big driving factor for survivability in these games, but arrogance is the entropic force that will remind you that just rolling everywhere is not actually going to help you live forever or kill things (without that one spike armor in Souls games lol). If you never learn the windows of a boss for example, you'll likely end up panic rolling to death more vs just until your out of stamina and need to think of a new plan. That or you try squeaking in that extra hit since stamina ain't an issue and then you get clipped by the boss for being greedy.
