NG+3 doesn't add anything.
We are getting much better mass/capacity due to "Light Weight" upgrade but again it does not help us do more damage. Fury attack guard is great defensive option but again no damage increase.
I do not understand the logic behind these upgrades being locked out at super late-game that most people never experience. Weight system is still way too punishing even after patch 1.2 gave us a bit more mass allowance per Capacity point. Same goes for Perfect Guard Weapon Durability Recovery perk, which is locked behind phase 6 P-organ upgrade available in NG+. Weapon durability is such a massive annoyance even with lots of Quartz invested into P-organ upgrades helping with it. Perfect guard could use this perk as a default to make it a bit better risk vs reward move.
What is the point of rare and finite resource, such as Quartz, if using it would just add flavor? I want to feel more powerful when I spend Quartz, which some of these perks provide but they are just available too late.
The amulet upgrade is the not the strongest phase 7 upgrade.
The fury block is by far the most powerful upgrade and then the wight limit increase.
They are locked so far into the game because they are completely broken.
It's fun when you have done everything for some late game BS but it would make NG or NG+ completly trivial and boring
Not sure what you're trying to say here, nonetheless, the goal is primarily to add interesting utility, bonuses, or combos that enhance your current build. So consider how in Nioh 2, if you're a mid-stance user you get bonuses that amplify that style, new combos, new utility features. However, these things by themselves don't limit your ability to play the game. It's just flavor that adds upon your build. Opens up new ways to experience the game.
Exaclty. Perfect Guard should be an option from the beginning. It is difficult enough so why not reward it eary IF you want it. Or you go the dodge route where you get buffs for it when you dodge. Or a route where a simple block gets buffed or stronger. Most of the P-Organ skills are not seen for 90% of the players. Also I do not see how NG++ is in any way rewarding when the only buffs are P-Organ skills. Your weapons stay the same, your defense stays the same, and your stats? At50+ they hardly matter because you need many points in a stat to get a difference.
