Golden Lie Sword [SPOILERS]

I just did the Rise of P ending, and I already did the Real Boy. I kinda mixed up the choices and didn't get enough humanity, so I can't get the special sword. I'm here, post credit, the nose isn't shining, but I think it's long enough, Question: is there any chance yet? or am I supposed to try to get it on the NG3?

I'm guessing here but here are my thoughts:
Depends on what you did. Did you find the Records in you NG+ playthrough and did you listen to them? If not, try doing it now.

There is also using Pray taunt or how they are called next to altar before cafedral "bonfire"

Yeah, I already did both. So I started de third NG, now I'm gonna pay attention to the choices.

There's a lot of misinformation around about the endings and Golden Lie. You need a certain amount of humanity, "Your heart is pounding" or whatever three times. That's it. You can do this on the first playthrough, even without lying every time or listening to every record (I missed one). I.e. I got Rise of P and Golden Lie on my first playthrough and I told the truth to Alidoro and the first Simon question. You do not need to listen to all records for anything except the achievement for listening to all the records in a single playthrough. This can only be done on NG+ because of the Golden Records on the vendors.

ETA: Don't forget to play the piano once you hit the humanity threshold.

I told the truth that the glove was not liked, that Simon made monsters, Geppeto caused the frenzy and that Alidoro was workshop girls brother, and still got the golden lie weapon.

To expand on this, you cant just listen to the records on NG+ you actually have to obtain them again, to know if you can use them, the Record will have its Case in the menu, which means it can be used to gain humanity.

Plus the recorder will be shining.

BTW, seems like the golden records dont work at all for humanity based on experience.

I told the truth 6 times and still got Golden Lie before I defeated Manus. Completed every NPC storyline and got every record I could find.

just stand in the lobby and listen to music; anytime a record finishes your humanity increases, check every now and then if you have enough, you do not need to reload the map to check
definetly works in post game

Source: i happened to do the rise of P ending in my first playthrough and got the lie weapon the exact same way
