Emotes...? HUH?!

Why do we have emotes if there's no multiplayer, PVE or PVP? Who am I kneeling or waving at? NPCs? LOL

they are actually used for some puzzles and interacting with some npc's

Oh, really? Because I'm getting all kinds and have found no use for them. I guess I'll try some on a few NPCs. I was so confused when I kept getting them. I was like... "Why would I ever use these...?" That makes more sense, I guess. Doesn't appear to happen often, though.

show all emotions to the broken puppet toward the end of the game and u will get yummies.

Don't know how far you are, but. If you have the 'Pray' gesture, you can do that at a certain statue to gain humanity.

I do feel like the emotes aren't as well integrated in the game as they could be.
You can't dodge, parry or attack out of an emote, you have to wait for its long-ass animation to finish, which prevents you from actually having fun and taunting enemies.

Multiplayer features are probably still coming, all of the infrastructure for them are there, such as the emotes. The interactions that I can remember (besides the BP) are:
-Adelina gives you a show off emote and a sailor suit when you first meet her, change into the suit and use the gesture in front of her and she'll give you an Ergo piece.
-After getting the 'pray' gesture, backtrack to the statue in the little hall on the other side of the bridge from the abbey. Use the gesture in front of the statue, and you get some Humanity.
-The cipher that gives you the Atoned's clothes requires you to use the 'check ground' gesture.

that's fluff, not infrastructure.
