Wild how Fromsoft with all the translation issues has always sounded more believable than the writing here lol

They should have kept the Donkey's previous line: "You cunning rascal. You won't get through here, die!"

My eyes hurt each time I picked up a Legion Plug or the like that always kicked up the active help. Just seeing those one or two wrong words that I hope to hell were just them being abrupt instead of some mistranslation or poor directing, iunno.

For me - it has to be the one for Arlecchino when you solve his second riddle.

He mentions something like finding rewards once you solved it - but the dialogue is the base Merchant "I have the best wares for sale" prompt. Completely pulls me out.

At least for Mad Donkey I interpreted it like "I wanted answers, but in my pursuit to find them I let the others down by just dying for nothing".
