What damage element you use on Hybrid enemy?

Do they still count as fleshy and vulnerable to slash and fire ?
Or they count as armored/plated blunt and electric ?

"If in doubt, use Acid" is my rule.

It seems that most late game enemies are mutants, which based on feedback on these forums count as carcasses. Puppet's should be relatively clear bar few cases where puppet shows some tentacles. Humans are clear cut as there is general agreement that just Stalkers are considered human.

So for elemental damage:
1. Puppets = Electric or Acid for specific bosses (Laxasia and Door guardian comes to mind as prime example)
2. Carcasses = Fire
3. Human = Fire or Acid

I keep having headache which one is more effective vs corrupted parade master, green monster in scrapped watchman

Acid kills pretty much everything except the really tanky carcass enemies (like swamp monster or the tentacled giants). Everything else melts, especially the end game bosses.

I am kinda surprise if this is true.
But I agree acid on the nameless puppet and thunder sword girl
