Report a translation problem
It seems that most late game enemies are mutants, which based on feedback on these forums count as carcasses. Puppet's should be relatively clear bar few cases where puppet shows some tentacles. Humans are clear cut as there is general agreement that just Stalkers are considered human.
So for elemental damage:
1. Puppets = Electric or Acid for specific bosses (Laxasia and Door guardian comes to mind as prime example)
2. Carcasses = Fire
3. Human = Fire or Acid
This except Electric Shock for me. I haven't found an enemy who is immune to the debuff, although a number that are resistant.
But I agree acid on the nameless puppet and thunder sword girl
