DLC could address linearity.
This game is fantastic. One of those rare ones that leave you wanting more.
One of the things, however, that most people say and after finishing the game I agree is how linear it is and that it lacks the exploration you find even in DS1.
A DLC post end game would not be the way to go imo. The story is told already.
They could release, however, a DLC set in mid game that sends you off to different locations and branching paths, something that you can do instead of just moving forward but that still has deep roots with the main story so it feels cohesive.
Another thing that is silly, I understand, but it was kind of bummer was the lack of illusionary walls. I began the game hitting all suspicious all I went by but then at some point after chapter 3 I just gave up on it.
This game is great and has potential to be one of the greatests

highly doubt this game will get dlc

the post credits scene basically teased an entirely new game not a dlc

I agree the game is a bit too linear compared to fromsoft's games. If it was non-linear it would've helped with replayability but it's fine like this as well. Hopefully the next game will be less linear
No please no! I'm not necessarily against open world, but smaller companies lose themselves when they try it. Sure there's better examples in every genre but off the top of my head Mirror's Edge Catalyst type of thing.

nonlinear doesn't mean open world

Dark souls 1 is not linear and it's not an open world
