Then - later on, he sells more types of stones. At that point, you can then swap em out and buy more; though generally it is 1 use per life (albeit one skill way later lets you get a 2nd use).
The stones you put in the cube are 1 time consumables. At the start of the game, you will only have 1 stone. Therefore, using your cube consumes that stone and you can't use it again until you find another stone. Talking to the funny haired man I believe gives you free HP recovery stones if you're out, but it's a pain to do.
A little farther into the game, you will be able to buy these stones and stock up. This means that using the charge in your cube will consume a stone. When you rest a stargazer, your cube will be reloaded with the stone from your storage. You will need to continually go back and buy more stones to ensure you don't run out.
That's how I understand it anyway. The game description made it sound like the physick flask but it uses a resource that needs to be purchased back. Hope that helps!
It's extremely poorly worded and I don't remember ever using mine but it's already dead. I have not found any gold fruit trees to buy more.
You will find the tree soon; the game literally forces you to it at one point.
that said, the wishstone is...meh. i personally find it best used to restore legion and continue spamming my gun arm against bosses, but some like the final-final boss benefit from the stagger increase, or perfect gaurd one.
thing is, I always see it's there so I assumed it can be used again forever if I went to stargazer much like the other powers u have.
but then this doesn't make sense since he still offer to buy more.
so, the stone consumes? if that's true then it would be better to unquip them and only use them when in need. correct me again if I'm wrong.
The stone only is consumed when you use the cube. If you haven't used the cube and sit at a stargazer, your supply is untouched
so, I hold that one stone that give HP and was playing believing it increase my HP just like that and then after I found the tree and the coins kind of free there and guaranteed I bought one of every single stone.
meh, now knowing that I never actually used one guess I'll never now haha.
thanks for all the replies.
