perfect guard cause stiffness?
What excatly does this do? Like with every perfect guard? That almost seems gamebreaking or not? You would be able to stop every combo that way?

I dont understand. Is it worth it? Does it make the game "too easy".

It feels weird considering prefectly guarding / deflecting combos is kind of the main game mechanic.

thx.

I have no idea because I had it unlocked and perfect guarding didn't seem to do anything different.

It can break weapons and build the invisible posture meter in order to allow for a fatal attack. That’s basically the whole gist of it.

Is that it? So basically it only enhances the existing mechanic and adds nothing to it? I had it for a while and I hoped it would stagger enemies out of their long combos but it didn't work on bosses so I dropped it.

I got like 30 parries on the Final Non-Optional boss in a row and never staggered/broke his weapon even with this p-organ turned on so... no idea what its supposed to do.

I think it is supposed to only really work for generic mobs, and is to "stop" them when they use a combo attack. One of the Alchemists hit me with his staff yesterday, and when I perfect blocked it he raised his arm up for a moment like when you hit a wall.

Forget if they always did that, but it doesn't seem to be very helpful unless you perfect block often against combo enemies.

Boss wise - I used it with Perfection grindstone on a couple of bosses, and nothing seemed to be different.

okay, thx. so its seems to be quite useless tbh.

It works on bosses as well. It cause them like short stagger when they don't react, they still stand. Unlike long stagger which is, well, longer and can be prolonged in skills and allows you to do fatal attack.

Agree, its a great game but im burnt out. Got right to the finish but that phase 2 is all over the place for me. Noticed a couple of times the sword impale thing, dodged it but rubber banded back into it,enemy tracking seemed a bit naff and slow fast combos all the time is hard to compute in my boomer brain.
Gonna give it a few days to freshen up then try and get it done before LOTF :praisesun::er_wave:

What does it look like? I used perfect blocking as my main defence for all bosses after I obtained it and I didn't notice anything. Never saw Manus or Puppet or any of the early NG+ bosses get a short stagger.
