This isn't Fromsoft nor is this Souls.
I mean *yeah* but you'd still expect getting to the highest level of scaling to give you a big payoff, regardless of whether you've played a Souls or anything and regardless of game.
a D scaling stat only gives 1 ATK per lvl, even if you go from lvl5 to 6 (so there is no diminishing retunr). Meanwhile an A scaling stat gives 2 ATK per lvl above 40...
an S scaling is much more beneficial than having an A scale main stat and a D scale which only provides 1 ATK per lvl even BEFORE diminishing return.
Man I must've just read everything wrong then. Sorry mate, go nuts.
I saw that post about S rank being not worth it so I took my Umbrella to "reset" it's scaling from S dex to D str and A dex and if I did that I would lose 13dmg which is a lot considering my total bonus is +100.
It might be worth it if you would go 40/40 because soft cap kicks in really early and really hard but if you are at one stat it's better to focus on it.
Edit: i have that dex ring on so technically I have 44 dex, not 40. Just saying, for clarity.
