Which enemy do you hate the most ?
I was just wondering, what is the most hated enemy in this game ?

For me it's definitely the clown in the wine basement in chapter 7 and probably the big kid puppet in chapter 8 on the rock.

If we talk about bosses, first phase of (chapter 6) King of Puppets or (end chapter 11) Simon's 2nd phase are definitely most annoying for me, especially the second one because it's impossible to stagger that thing lol.

I hated those puppets on strings and their master. They were way too durable and had rat her nasty move set. I also hated those ultra aggro headless puppets you could encounter from time to time with their long combos and fury attack at the end.

When it comes to boss encounters, it was probably King of Puppets that gave me most grief.

Those guys are definitely annoying since if you get pancaked, it can easily be your death since they will ground-and-pound you if you are not massing dodge button. You encounter them early before getting P-organ upgrade to dodge from being knocked down so it was always 50/50 if you get up in time or get smashed into a dirt.

Yeah, I actually forgot about this thing, especially the one guarding the lever for the corruption lake to the Puppet of the Future boss in the factory...

This. For now.

Gonna sound dumb but the legless baby puppets and their corrupted counterparts later on. Can someone tell me why they have more poise than the rifle-toting soldier puppets while being such pains to hit with most swing types?

They have no legs so they can not crumble to the floor?

I actually used area where 3 of those legless baby puppets spawned to farm experience and they become less of a nuisance when I could 1-hit kill them with heavy charged attack. :P

Oh no what I mean is like. How they have enough health to take 3-4 swipes, but they just power through. Sure their attacks are slow to wind up, but they don't flinch. And if there are 3-4 of them you can kinda end up in a hairy situation. Even more in Krat Central when the corrupted versions show up that have their own 'puppet wire' trick.

I was just joking. They do stagger if you hit them hard enough, at least normal versions. They are also creepy as ♥♥♥♥, I definitely felt weird encountering them for the first time. :)

Nah I ain't ticked. It's just another of those things where I feel like Neowiz kind of fiddled with the dials in just the wrong way, instead of messing up big-time. Once I made a better weapon I started carving through them more. They're just still way up there after I saw how they made them worse in the Station.

For me - it is likely either that same damn Harlequin puppet or maybe the post Green Monster versions of the elite puppets.

These two - the Harlequin I literally crushed his health bar (Puppet Stringed into him with the tier 3 combo, then the Fable art with the scythe to upswing, AND a full heavy); no stagger. He didn't even really flinch - so I just tossed 5 electric jars and called it a day after. ♥♥♥♥ that guy all day :DMCMarionette1:

The other option for me is nothing hard - the enemies are just tanky and have that extra move during a stagger window that stretches the fight out. Makes something menial feel even more so.

If we talking about just normal enemies, then easily the baby looking things, way too much poise for no reason and they're often in groups.

Becomes worse with the infected ones.
