It helps
Phase 2, I actually recommend evade more when he do the spinning slash.
Evade toward his back and side, and you will see some miss.
Some times it is because you evade because blocking push you some distance away.
I use the "perfect blocking" grind stone. So I can take less damage and put him into staggered earlier.
I also use aegis, when triggered it will push some distance away and avoid his sword combo, while apply some stagger damage.
I wear full set every highest physical reduction. On top of physical resist amulet and heaviest anti slashing armor.
Aside from red attack, normal quick swing only take around few mm of my hp.
My build p-organ focus at heavy attack stagger and empty pulse charge. So I only has 6 flask charge max.
This fight actually not as excessive difficulty as other bosses.
It is grand finale 1v1 puppet show down.
Also first phase you need to parry as you were doing and second phase it’s best to avoid entirely his attacks and stay on his side and land a hit after all his strings. Sometimes he does one when he come from the sky, you can do an heavy charged attack right after it if you’re close.
Did anyone find timing or clue on how to perfect guard this Fury attack charges from across the screen? I only managed to perfect guard it 2 times in all of my attempts...
Can anyone confirm Nameless Puppet's weapon can be broken? I'm currently consider just perfect guarding and not damaging it to break the waepon and hope it is possible and stick to phase 2.
There are is an aerial attack that can be punished but it is random what attacks it decides to do so it is not exactly reliable.
Yep, it definitely feels like I'm either missing a hint/clue when to trigger guard or I'm missing some drugs in my circulation system to get on par with the reaction requirement :P
I just used the perfect guard fable art lmao. Never turned back since it made everything so much easier. What I did was hold my guard and react roll his attacks until he was open, and like you said I only was able to get two attacks in before going back to dodging all their attacks. Red attacks and leap attacks give you more hits tho, so you should really try to punish them.
I might go back to the initial Greatsword and its handle over my fully upgraded Bone-Cutting blade mounted on Krat police baton handle. The weapon served me well for pretty much all of the game from the moment I got it but I might upgrade initial Greatsworda and used its handle Fable art to deal with the charge.
You should electrical blitz grindstones and shot put. It is a puppet so electricity is doing increased damage to him and shot put will guarantees that you get a fatal attack if you stagger him.
I can also confirm with near certainty that it is not possible to break Nameless puppet's weapon by perfect guards. I spent nearly 15 minutes perfect guarding his attack in phase 1 thanks to it healing when low on health and my P-organ upgrade that heal guard regain when perfect guarding.
Ill try the dodge stuff more i think.
