Nearly had him first go. Second I got stomped. Third, his second phase was at 5%. I'm headed back in for a fourth (home from campus with a nasty neck spasm).

Third run I used a summon. Got really close.

Fourth run I also used a summon, and he raging-toddler-steamrolled me about sixty seconds into phase 2.

After the breath of fresh air that was Victor, this boss is another that I am going to dread. This game is so all over the place. Overtuned and then just right and then back to overtuned. The damage I am taking from this ♥♥♥♥ might as well be NG+5 levels. I guess if I have to power level myself to 50 vigor just to avoid getting 4 shot I might have to. I hate hating a game that I like playing so much(It makes sense in my head)

Nah, I get that last bit. I am unapologetically in love with Lies of P, but the tuning is all over the damn place.

I've been going back to Sekiro for a break when P frustrates me.

Weak to blitz sound cool. I will stock a bit items. The fight is actually kinda fun but phase 2 is such a slog. And you can get crushed in a few hits. I cot him close two times now but he got me.

He has too much HP and the arena is too small. Aside from that i kinda like the fight.

I can see me beating him np on a good run but its just such a tedium.

First playthrough he almost filtered me, i was malding. Now Ng++ and new save file he is one of my fav bosses. Wife still holds the crown.

Gave him a few more tries and I think I am done for a few days. His red charge attack appears to be undodgeable. Tried dodging left, right, etc and he just Dark souls 2 spin tops towards me and runs me over. Probably have to perfect guard it but I can't get the timing down. Getting 4 shot by him is extremely annoying. This is after a few tries solo and a few tries with a spectre.

Yeah game can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for a few days while I detox with something else.

Learn his first phase then summon dont be proud as this will help you consistently get to his second phase quicker and learn more about it.

So the only boss you found fun was Victor, the single easiest boss in the game, and anything that puts up an actual challenge, you dread it...

The Puppet Devouring Green Monster, when paired with getting tripped up on riddle 4 when it seemed completely obvious, is what pushed me away for a little while. The second it had a phase 2 after every other boss had done the same thing, coupled with how *it* did phase 2, just got me to back up and take a few days off.

They really need to work on their boss design for the sequel. It's supposed to be an 'oh ♥♥♥♥' moment not a 'Burn through phase 1 because it's a formality' moment.
