I like this boss but that second phase is pissing me off with its tight parry timings. That first phase was a nice break from all the BS fights I had to endure. I was oh like: oh hey a nice fair challenging boss fight sort of like Champion Victor. Only to get hopes dashed by cracked combos on phase two. God d@mmit. This game is gonna kill me.

his phase 2 has its own phase 2 btw. The game has a good core, but these final boss fights are just too sweaty to be enjoyable.

I would say Nameless puppet is much more a fair fight than many other bosses.
I don't recommend you "enforce play only perfect block".
I almost full focus on fully evading to his side and able to chip in 1 or 2 hit sometimes.

Also, as a love letter to bloodborne, this is a quite straight 1 v 1 climax fight.
Hard, but not HP sponge.
I fully equip all physical resist gear and slashing resistance, so this also let me practice more being able to taking more hits

nameless puppet is exactly how a boss fight should be simon manus is a garbage fight the fight before him is okay but still not good tbh basically all the fight after fallen archbishop are just bad or it could be the scaling of the game after that point anyway loved nameless puppet i almost didnt do the fight too

Beated him on new game plus plus to achieve the platinum and final ending. He hits like a truck, can kill you with 4 hits top even with the max reduction items, but one if not the, best boss fight of the game

Yep it's one of their more fair fights in fact they seem to have some idea about balance because this doesn't have a spectre summon so there's no crazy moves like Manus, I wish more of their bosses was like this. I would just recommend to dodge to his front and get on his back. He can lose his tracking in the middle of his flashy moves and open his back to heavies.

Also not gonna lie dark red color with the gold strings afterglow is just visual eye candy.

Been hearing about how hard he hit on new game+, but so far i have been breezing through my plus run, I'm using a motivity build with noblesse oblige, got my hp stat to 40 now too.

This weapons fable art hits super hard, and if i can get the amulet from manus to pair with it, i look forward to it.
