Throwables are OP & I love it.
Any issue I have with anyone in the game gets dealt with by my pitcher build. I want the merchant at the Red Lobster to be at the Hotel, he deserves safety for being awesome. Any other deadly pitchers out their? I'm curious. It's kinda funny how viable it is

The merchant at red lobster can stay where he is. So convenient to have a nice Ergo source just a floor down. Easy 1k Ergo every minute.
I sometimes wonder if he is standing up there, hearing me kill that carcass over and over again, rubbing his hands and thinking "another pay day, eh"

throwables can let you pass a lot of otherwise unreasonably hard enemies like the Hunter killer clowns and such, but the last 3 bosses, if you farm to buy throwables, you are better off spending that Ergo on leveling capacity.

You say that but shotput is what won me the fight against manus. Throwables are very powerful.

i am referring to people who will pack their whole inventory with all 7 throwables and unload everything at the boss. Having a shot put for a clutch stagger ain't what i mean.

I didn't level health until I killed the Corrupted Parade Master. I do not use parry, only level Tech(dex), & use throwables, my build is a mess that works for me. I don't farm, I just use whatever I accumulate during my travels. I sometimes buy throwables, I sometimes level up.
Though every time I die is me kinda redoing the same area which is a farm I suppose, though not intentional. btw, I main Etiquette with a S scaling, it's awesome.

You can probably do a throwables only build for bosses. It's pretty busted. I would try but too lazy to farm Ergo. Probably could mod some ergo in but eh

nah, even with maxed out throwable count and optimal stats for all of them, Manus has too much HP. you would need to finish at least half of him with a weapon.

So the throwables are fine until Manus? Honestly seems pretty good if you compare how meh throwables were in other games.
