Improve the Elemental Legion Arms
I think the three elemental legion arms need some help. They would make for a nice mage type build, but all of them are hampered by being too awkward to use or short range to be an effective companion to your melee weapon.

Fulminis is essentially a melee weapon with a really long charge up time. This kind of gives it very limited usefulness. How about changing the last stage so that the lightning ball detaches from P's hand and slowly moves toward the enemy? That would allow it to become a useful caster weapon on its highest level.

Flamberge simply has too little range to be useful. Even with the range upgrade you have to be too close to actually reliably build up its effects. This thing would be improved by simply making the cone a little tighter, and the range a little longer.

Pandemonium is pretty good, but it's very difficult to get enemies to stay in the puddle for any length of time. How about changing the last upgrade from an explosion at the end of its duration to sticky acid that slows enemies that stand in it so that they take more damage moving through it?

They're good counters for the area they should be used it and I cheesed some sponges with it. They're almost useless in boss situations though.
If It didn't take like 30 Golden fruit to change legion armrs I would just recommend you keep changing depending on the area.

Havent really tried Pandemonium but i had no real issues with the other two arms, specially Flamberge, allows to easily get rid of smaller enemies or groups of them, and once you get the explosion upgrade, you can deal some real dmg with it.

And with Fulminis you can apply the effect pretty damn fast if not instantly with it.

Fulminis is actually really strong after you get the upgrade to let you move while charging it. It's best used at a medium distance and then blasted right in the enemy's face when they come charging at you.

I just don't care for this weird melee magic when my actual weapon has significantly higher damage output. It doesn't bring any capability to the table that really helps me.

Puppet string or falcon eyes actually give you some ranged capabilities, and deus ex machine explodes by itself, you don't have to put yourself in harms way.

Can the elemental arms be used? Sure. But they are a far cry from letting you make an effective caster build because of their weird ways of dealing damage.

I don't really know about Fulminis, but Pandemonium is utter garbage, at least for boss fights. I ran a advance build and primarily used Pandemonium for my legion arm and it's just not very good. Best use case for Pandemonium is using it when an enemy is staggered before reposting them since it still damages them in the I frames.

Flamberge seems like the best one if you're going to choose one. It seems to do the highest damage, and you can react roll out of it once deployed, so range doesn't really matter if you're doing damage while (almost) completely safe.

Yea, but Flamberge ramps its damage with how long you've used it, so rolling out of it deprives you of a lot of its power. It's also arguably still not as strong as just stabbing someone repeatedly with a Salamander Dagger Blade on a Crystal Spear Handle.

Actually, it seems to do more DMG than my main weapon (Circular Electric Chainsaw head, Acidic Great Curved Sword hilt). I only tested it out briefly, but the explosion attack is what you want, not the ramp up I think?

Isn't the explosion the final ramp up though?

I feel like the elemental ones were pretty good early game when used on the correct enemies but were too slow for bosses. Late game the shield arm is just so much more useful that's all I used for the last couple chapters.

Ye, it takes like 1 second then you press Y, or whatever your fable art button is.

Hmm, ok, that sounds fairly useful. I fully upgraded my Pandemonium and it wasn't really worth it. The explosion is just not something you can use deliberately there, the only time you can get an enemy with it is if you manage to cheese them somehow so they can't move.
