Golden Lie

Anyone play around with this weapon? I just got it and It looks insanely cracked. Those combos it does are so cool. I like that's a staff too. Brings out my inner monk.

There are way better weapons than Golden Lie. Personally never use it cause got better ones.

i got it, but i am all out of upgrade materials at this point, so cant really test.

That's a good question. I have no clue. I just played around with it at practice dummy then switched back to Frozen Feast.

I used it for most of NG+ its a great weapon, one of the faster heavy damage weapons with decent defence, its fable does a great deal of damage, I actually took fuoco down past his half health mark hitting him with the full charge spam of that combo, it also has a defensive ability that blocks and attacks at the same time, its great for poke damage too.

I believe the appearance changes depending on how much you lie in the current NG, since you essentially had to lie all the time to even get it, the weapon will mostly be gold when you first get it, but on NG+ where the Lie count is reset completely, the weapon will lose most of it.
