Last Story of Venigni achievement

I can't unlock this for some reason. I did all the sanctums, read the book, and talked to the king of riddles but he won't give me the item I need. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Did you give the toy warrior to Venigni after talking to the king of riddles? I answered "Human" to the last riddle.

Be sure you exhaust all of king's talk options. He gave me the warrior after I specifically talked with him about Venigni.

if im not mistaken... venigni must tell u about his past first before u talk to the king of riddles to get the item...

This was it. He only advances dialogue after beating a boss so I had to go and kill Laxasia to make him talk about it.
