Parry is extremely strict, and enemies speed/animation could use some work.
Still a great game though.
You understand nothing ,, i said casuals ruin the experience ,, because they complain and will make devs the game easier ,, and maybe some of us ,, have 20 hours on one boss , it is not fair you beat after the update in 10 mins
So git gud you
I'm veteran in souls games , and i have SL 1 RUN complete
Actualy i really like this devs , because they don't transform a souls like in souls lite ,,
i don't count Remnant 1,2 and Jedi Survivor or any game ,, have difficulty slider is not a real soulslike game so grow up
All difficulty artificial increase is just bad , and every time is not fair
and i known really good ,, the last difficulty is not fair in any soulslike have slider
So that games ,, are Soul Lites , for kids like
I am a casual of this type of game too and I buy them because I like the art, the graphics, the music and the story. Not so much the gameplay and the "hard difficulty" experience (I usually play games in easy mode, because I already have enough challenge in my regular live as it is). In this case, I liked the game so much, that I bought the most expensive version, just to support the developers.
Be as hardcore as you want, but without people like me (casuals), you wouldn't have anything to play to.
No need to have praise from bad players.
As Miyazaki himself once said in an interview:
"‘”We don’t want to include a difficulty selection because we want to bring everyone to the same level of discussion and the same level of enjoyment,” Miyazaki said. “So we want everyone … to first face that challenge and to overcome it in some way that suits them as a player.”
The creator continued: “We want everyone to feel that sense of accomplishment. We want everyone to feel elated and to join that discussion on the same level. We feel if there’s different difficulties, that’s going to segment and fragment the user base. People will have different experiences based on that [differing difficulty level]. This is something we take to heart when we design games. It’s been the same way for previous titles and it’s very much the same with Sekiro.”‘"
Understand this. This genre is for people who want challenge, who wants to engage with likely minded people on forums, and share their successes with other like-minded players.
We enjoy this. A difficulty setting would just ruin this. There would always be suspicion in the air when someone posts a no hit kill.
No thanks. Not every genre is for everyone. You suck in soulslike? either improve or drop out. No inbetween.
My only hard boss in souls games , was Malenia ,, 35 hours of fight ,, all rest 2 hours maximum
But this boss swamp i love it ,, maybe i try to low level i'm just 67
yeah... if you ever had any valid point, you successfully made all of them meaningless.
don't forget to add your comment to your Steam Review about the game. you went into a soulslike and complain that bosses are hard.
do you also go into an FPS and complain that you need to aim?
git gud
But it does. You refuse to adapt, instead you whine and demand changes... sorry, "rebalance" to cater for your lack of ability to learn a fight.
People are already clearing the game with no hit runs, including the last 1/4 of the game. Your SL1 and BL4 runs mean absolutely nothing in a game that is not DS or BB.
A good point ,, people should stop buy souls like if they don't have patience and power of learning ,, life is hard ,, game is same
If you beat in your life ,, game should be easy,
It's a great game on its own merit, but it does have issues. There are people just blindly defending poorly implemented mechanics by saying it's a learning issue. Everyone can learn and adapt, the question is, should they and how much fun is it to do so.
What some git gud giga chads are suggesting here is the equivalent of driving a car with 3 wheels and just learn to cope with the sway. Yes, you can learn to drive a 3-wheeled car. Is it a good idea? No. Should it be addressed? Yes. People should instead be learning and adapting to different types fully functional cars.
