Is keyboard good or better with controller

Fan of Bloodborne, but never played any other soulsborne so don't know if it plays well with keyboard and mouse. Is it better with controller or just as playable with either one? Also is there any future plans for extra DLC story content like Bloodborne Old Hunter DLC?

Controller is definitely better and this is the only time I used a KbM for a souls game. It's not bad. Would be better if we could map buttons though. It could get real goofy when you're switching to tool belts in the middle of a boss fight.
There is. They're planning on releasing a Road map soon for the game, One of the ending teased a really good setting for a DLC or Sequel would turn this game into my favorite setting for the genre if they don't mess it up.

If you are used to m+kb for this type of game, there is no real reason not to do it. It works fine for me.

You cant rebind wasd tho. So if you play with another setup you need a 3rd party programm to rebind them.

Thats the only issue.

you can remap buttons... don't listen to that first guy. just not the movement buttons
and the kb+m controsl are fine in this game, as long as you remap the buttons

For me only kb+m. I beat sekiro , elden ring, ds3. i play kb+m all my life. And controler for me is harder. I remap buttons for my comfort.

Xbox Series Controller works well.
I tried the PS5 controller but in crazy boss fights the L3 stick button is more prone to be accidentally pressed, maybe it's slightly more sensitive than the xbox controller.

Usually I would say controller, but the keyboard and mouse controls feel great in this game. Was able to complete it with k+m and didn't even bother connecting a controller.
