Most difficult game ever

For me this is the most difficult game I've ever played. I'm not a souls veteran but I have beaten AC6, the Remnant games and Elden Ring. Can anyone shout out games even more difficult then this one?

ninja gaiden comes to mind... especially the original 360 version of Ninja Gaiden 2

Ninja Gaiden maybe? Wo-long isn't a slouch either but Lies of P is way more difficult cause of the mechanics.

lol I beat battletoads when I was 14 years old, I'm guessing you mean the NES battletoads, not the rebooted one.

Ahh, definitely heard Ninja Gaiden mentioned a lot in discussions of difficult games. Unfortunately I'm too spoiled by modern graphics and high framerates to go back that far and replay it. For me the beauty of Elden Ring or Lies of P is the reward for how punishingly difficult they can be.

Wo-long lacked a certain something for me, but maybe I will have to give it another chance.

I do. I was nine or ten when the NES version came out.

Beating that thing without a GameGenie felt like being blooded in combat, ah tell yew whut.

It aged gracefully. Granted that's emulated but still looks decent.

Love Nioh 2. It's a lovely game. Though it leans more heavily into Diablo based loot.
