I havent found any helpful mod, so i just gave myself some souls to lvl up a bit to save a lot of time.

Cheats and exploits are awesome in games.
Bethesda still puts console commands in the PC versions of games.
Game Genie. Game Shark.
Now, devs get their panties in a twist if there's a cheat or exploit that people enjoy and they get all butthurt and "fix" it.

Honestly, if I played this on PC it's something I might've used.

Not necessarily to beat the bosses, but to practice things like parry timings without having to waste minutes loading and running back every time I made a mistake.

I guess some people just want to feel like they "beat" a hard game and won't care how they do it... By doing it this way, they completely miss the whole point of this kind of games.
These types of games are meant to be difficult in order for the players to improve by paying attention to the game mechanics and improving/learning with each consecutive defeat.

But oh well... to each their own I guess.

LoP's choice of attack animations and parry window makes that process a bit more tedious than what you would see in Soulsborne:

• Very little movement between setup and parry/dodge. You need to memorize the time between, in Soulsborne motion is fluid, and you can react to a point in that animation.
  
• Parry windows on most weapons are quite narrow. Sure, weapons with narrow parry windows exist in Soulsborne, but the players can use parry-oriented options with less startup/more active frames.

Especially for the tedious process of memorizing each attack timing LoP style, I would understand if someone went 'no death' to learn.

LoP does provide parry-oriented tools from what I've seen (not bought it yet, just checking for any improvements / discounts), but maybe these are not well known yet.
