Is the demo gone?
I read somewhere that it would stay in the store indefinitely since it was a huge success, and I wanted to try it out because currency in my country is super inflated so buying to try out with the hassle of refund in case I don't like it is really troublesome. So have access to the demo would help me decide.

Apparently it was taken down around launch. The game was altered significantly (in terms of difficulty tuning) between the demo and launch, too, so they wouldn't be 1:1 experiences anymore, anyway.

Why not just do game pass? Some countries even have the dollar first month still too.

Of course it's gone, because demos don't exist in the modern age. Now they're just glorified time limited betas. Steam's "next fest" shows this off terribly.

A real far cry from the 90's where demos were fully replayable games, and even had online features..

It's quite sad though that the demo is gone, I have also discovered like 2 days ago that it's gone. I have no idea why they deleted the demo, there are games like Resident Evil and those games do have demos to this date still available lol

Deleting demo is imo a bad move after release because the game is quite popular around streamers I see and people like to watch streamers and they might be interested in the game and would like to try it out, but 60€ is a lot for a "I want to try this" so they might go for a demo... guess what, they won't because they can't and Neowiz might lose potential buyers because of this.

Not really when its available on game pass. I understand your point, though.

Game pass is paid, there are many people who already bought their 1€ offer before this game came out so it doesn't really change anything imo, you still have to pay in order to try it out...

Fifteen bucks is a hell of a lot less than sixty, though.
