What broken gameplay mechanics you are talking about? I'm confused because Perfect guard works just fine. Some bosses are harder to perfect guard, some are easier. You are not supposed to perfect guard or just guard everything, there is still a dodge to be used. Some bosses actually require you to dodge otherwise you are making the game harder for yourself.
Have yet to encounter anything broken. Though on your comment note:
You do realize that the game gives you at least 4 different ways to parry/guard against a hit + a dodge. If you cant utilize those 5 options properly then its not the game....its you.
I swear people don't listen to themselves when they speak.
So our positive reviews further guarantees that we will keep seeing more and more difficult soulslike games from devs?

Of course Sekiro is easy mode. Sekiro is probably the easiest of the from software game. Lies of P punish you for not perfect guarding as you will be hit or you will take guard damage. Sekiro just damage your postures and you can deflect while in parry mode, which is not something you can do on Lies of P.
The game is not hard if you understand two basic things:
1) You just dodge using a quick weapon, so a sword, the acid spear, or the baton + electricity.
2) You equip a big sword with 70% damage reduction and you perfect guard or just guard.
If you perfect guard many times you break the boss weapons, making him deal less damage overall.
The P organ can be built around these 2 main playstyles. You can choose bonus that reduce the HP loss on guarding or boost the rally bonus from hitting enemy to restore your hp or you can just focus on bonus that enhance evasion, fable arts and damage with full HP.
Ain't nothing like tarring an entire community with an overly-broad brush to help cement an intelligent, well-considered argument.
If you just open your eyes, you'll see that I'm right. Criticism of difficult games is not tolerated.
So if I think like you, I won't be a conformist?
