icon next to fast travel location?

There is a little tube like icon next to the "inside the house on Elison Boulevard" stargazer.

What does it mean? thx

When you see an icon next to a quick travel point that means you can use an item to turn in a quest, interact with an NPC or collect an item from an NPC.

I'd check what the item is. An NPC may have talked about it.

If you see something next to the location - it means something of interest is there; similar to when you see the faces to tell you someone wants to talk.

If you go to that Stargazer and look around a bit more, you will likely find an item matching the icon. Sounds like a codex based on your description, which is something that leads to more loot.

The tube thing is probably something you picked up from the bench during the Watchman bossfight. If you take a right from the stargazer and then go down via the ladder on your right again, there will be someone talking about Murphy.

Oh yeah - I almost forgot about that item; I know what it is now (not a codex like I thought earlier - that's for sure).
