Mad Puppet Clown
Does anyone have a good weapon to use against this guy? I'm actually going to lose my mind, I've gotten to the point I can parry almsot all attacks in a row, but as soon as the white bar appear he just doesn't stagger and hits me with a 2-3 combo ... I've tried using faster weapons but they take so long to build up stagger

Hey bro, stock up on Shot Puts. They've been my bread and butter for my Strength Build to stagger bosses when they get that white bar. The consumable is fast to use too unlike the eternal long charge attack from heavy weapon.

Flamberge arm, lay on the pressure and just dodge his long range swing, then rush in, get damage and back off. It's a pain but easily doable.

Also throwables destroy him.

Oh well, time to bang my head against some new walls haha. But for real, I haven't struggled as much on any enemy untill now, all the videos I've seen on the clown, they somehow manage to get a charged heavy as soon as that spin combo ends, but I got hit the last milisecond EVERY TIME. Is there a p-organ trait that speeds up the heavy charge up?

I'm not sure bro. So far I don't see anything that speeds up charge time, but there's two more trees I haven't unlocked yet, so who knows.

combine the Bone cutting saw blade and Great sword of Fate handle together (for game after NG+ you can also use Military shovel handle instead, but some times stuck with too wide attack range), then upgrade Puppet String to Rank III to get Attack Link.
This is the most broken build in this game, you can easily defeat all the enemies included mad Bosses within 1~2mins by even first try.
the Attack Link trigger stagger and give very high damage, also if the timing is right no one can hit you because you are staying above.
the Great sword of Fate handle give you the best attack motion and fable art performs auto perfect guard for 1sec.
bone cutting saw blade brings the highest physical, stagger damage and widest attack range for this build, beside it gives very high damage reduction, fable charge and pulse cells charge.

UPDATE: I bneat the pupper king on my first try. He was tough but nowhere near as bad as the clown before him. It's so interesting how everyone has trouble with different bosses

The build you use also affects how the difficulty impacts you too. Good job though. I struggled on Puppet King for a long while until I managed to get the dodge timings down pat for second phase.

Don't forget the old Souls addage: If it's REALLY big , a shortcut is nearby.
Run past the bowling ball and activate the stargazer that's literally just behind him on the other side of the building. Then when you die you land at the new stargazer and just run your ass right to him for a super quick respawn. There proceed to learn how to pummel the clown ♥♥♥♥ into oblivion one way or another.

My start was to just beat him to 50% or less health, and then I tossed my 5 electric charge grenades at him. Used Electric Coil which was around +5 or +6 by this point on the coil handle with a crank for better elemental damage scaling.

Also - his combos are kinda quick with janky timing, but you can eek out certain moves. For example - if you stand 5 plus feet away and use the grinder, he will almost always go right into the long range punch.

You could even tap the button and he will do it, so you can sorta get better at timing on the punch, then use Puppet String to pull in once the bar is white for a heavy attack since he takes a quick moment to go into his next attack after perfect blocking the punch.

lead him to the stargazer, make him circle around it, poke him a few times after his slower attacks, use throwables if necessary
