Seem to be the case, i see a big damage increase when it goes off. I am not sure if it is double but it destroys.
I just used the Tyrant Murderers Dagger as a +6 to absolutely destroy the King of Puppets first try (that caught me off guard with all the topics about him). So it seems pretty effective.
But i just stood there surprised i killed him so quick.
Seems fitting that such a weapon named tyrant killer would kill the king with ease....
I didn't even think about that. The range is pretty bad but im getting quickly addicted to the visual effect and sounds of the crit.
This weapon is taking my soul man.
If you like the critical effect, the final weapon in the game - Proof of Humanity - is basically dual longswords with a crit chance and fairly good base damage. You can also get crit with any weapon using a late-game grindstone which temporarily adds it.
