Haven't beaten it yet but I like this fight. It feels fun to play against. Though I feel parry/block don't feel good to use in this encounter. Dodge feels better. The reason being even if you perfect parry a red attack while Victor is in his combo, it doesn't cancel his combo, stagger him, or do anything. On top of that blocking his attack is futile as he does an attack where he break your guard even if you have full stam.

The more I play the more clunky the systems get.

Anyways, its weird how this game relied on parry system for the majority of its first bosses then conveniently switches to: ok now dodge this nerd.

Huh I would say Victor is one of the more parry friendly bosses. Dealt more damage and faster just by being up in his face that way. Also game starts being a parry fest after that don't worry.

Not looking forward to it because I don't like the parry, lmao. I wish the devs reworked the parry to be more consistent and responsive to execute. A mechanic that is this essential in combat should always be easy to execute in any situation within the heat of combat regardless of the circumstance.

Victor was one of the better bosses for parrying I thought, very consistent pattern to his attacks, he doesn't really go all that crazy, he's not that fast outside of his run, and his combo's are straightforward.

the one after victor is the real challenge. Be prepared

i didnt manage to get a stagger on stone cold till he had less then 5% of his health left. i found the most effective strategy to deal with that guy was to spam throwing consumables at him and then spam the gun arm.
