The story is honestly the best thing about the game (spoiler free)

Just beat my first run, the ending I got was great IMO. The ending was LONG, dear lord, way longer than I thought it was going to be. Looking forward to their next title! Hopefully they can improve upon gameplay going forward, as thats my biggest complaint.

Spoiler: I got the end where P put his ergo into a girl looking doll with long blue hair. Was it the true ending or just the good ending?

I've not finished it but I have learned that a high majority o f "soul/life sucking" games have REALLY good stories but the bad game mechanics keep a lot of people from playing it.

True, code vein is a good exemple of that, the combat mechanic need polishing but the story wad actualy good( big spoiler here: code vein is hinted as being in the same universe of god eater)
