Do i have to listen to the entire record to get the humanity?

When you listen to the music record things in hotel krat do i have to listen to the entire song for humanity or no

Yes you have to listen to the entire thing once.

Yeah, you can just set them to play and then mute the game and do something else for an hour if you want. Granted I think the songs except for someday are really good so I don't mind listening.

Ok also does listening to them do the message that tells you your gaining humanity? Because i havent seen it yet

Yeah, the message plays when the song ends the first time.

Just FYI, if you're in NG+ you won't get Humanity for the records you got in your first playthrough, even though they're playable in the record player. You have to find all the records again in NG+ to be able to listen to them for humanity.

No. You do the right, compassionate things in side quests and that should be enough to get golden lie. Some early youtuber said you have to listen to entire album which is grossly incorrect.

To get humanity specifically from records you do have to listen to the full song, every new record triggers a humanity message at the end. While you can max humanity through quest and other actions, that wasn't the question.
