Any way to recover Saintess of Mercy Statue Gallery Key?

Looking around it appears that only and ONLY way you can get the key is to finish the damn dialogue.

The frustrating part is that I'm using a guide so unlike other people with same issue who quit the game - I knew and picked the dialogue option I wanted, but game just crashed on me mid dialogue and as an added insult to injury it is the only crash I had so far.

While it is surprising that in a month devs couldn't handle the issue by just spawning the key under the balcony right as dialogue starts or cutscene ends (you're looking up - you won't see it appearing and vestiges appear in similar way already), so player can pick it up at their own convenience... At least all the statue functionality is at the tree as well and there's nothing particularly important about Saintess statue.
