This means you really don't need to know about caps at all, you can just value each level as the benefit it gives on it's own. That said, the scaling does diminish faster at high levels in the stat.
Except capacity which is OP and just keeps giving roughly the same amount all the way up to 100.
Hp and capacity are the best dump stats by far.
A soft cap is the point where leveling gives greatly diminishing returns
So you basically said "there are no real soft caps but there are soft caps"
People generally say a certain point is the soft cap when the point investment isn't really worth it (I know what is "worth it" is subjective) based on the return.
This thread is really about the motivity and technique stats and they stop being worth it a around 40
