I've 8700k with 1080ti.
You can go mid-high or even more with no stuttering for sure.

Game's performance is awesome.

Your rig will be fine.

Get in the game, adjust some settings. See what is the most stable.

God this is great , just testing atm and on high settings im on 130 fps on the start :) ty guys !

The performance is one of the best ive ever witnessed, you can for sure run it 100%
Sonnenbank Oct 26, 2023 @ 11:12am
Well there is a benchmark with basically your setup on WQHD , max graphics , native res
and it has ~ 60fps average

So yeha when you will get 60fps on everything max settings in WQHD
you for sure can run this game decent on a 1080 if you make some adjustments

My daughter uses my old PC which has MSI GTX 1080 with modified bios and I7 6700K overclocked to 4.7, 32 GB RAM and plays on a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor with all ultra settings and reach 80 fps.

really good performance for an unreal engine game. 1660ti and high preset is no issue. stuttering is minimal.

yeha maybe she reaches 80fps in some situations indoor..... but definitely not everywhere 80+
with a GTX 1080 and true max settings on 3440x1440 (No FSR, rest all max)

I just tested again with my 2080TI Phoenix GS that is with DLSS Quality about 2x the speed of a 1080GTX (that has no DLSS in feature list).
And i was owner of a massivly overclocked 1080 Golden Sample before so i know about the speed difference

And the fps depends extremly on the environment.
Some scenes i have 152fps (Like indoor act 7 Lorenzini Arcades)
Some scenes i have 125 fps..... mainly big open spaces with lots of lightning. LIke the main hub when i watch from an angle where you see most of the area.

So you do definitely not have constant 80+ fps with a GTX1080 on 3440x1440 native , max settings.

Its Unreal Engine 4 that has been optimised for 9 years now.

Has nothing to do with the new games that have Unreal Engine 5 with really high hardware requirements.

The demo ran perfectly using my old GTX 970. I have a 4070 now, but I have no reason to think the 970 wouldn't have worked just fine on the full game. The game runs astoundingly well.

Outdoor but is not constant all the time, depend from the location.

im playing it on rtx3070 on a 1440p ultrawide monitor, fps is very stable with everything maxed out (DLSS on), i get 100~144 fps as i turned on the vsync.
its not a very demanding game.

Not very demanding but it requires upscaling to run well at all.

Playing on a RX580 (I'm poor leave me alone) and a Ryzen 5 3600, on medium I can get a good solid 60fps, on high I get an average of 48. Game looks and runs amazingly.
Sonnenbank Oct 27, 2023 @ 1:20am
Well in the end it is an UnrealEngine 4 game.
So hardware requirements are "moderate"

just for comparison:
my setup: i5 9400f , 32GB 3200, 2080TI OC , SSD

Remnant 2, WQHD, DLSS , high settings -> 72-82fps
Lies of P , WQHD , DLSS , max settings -> 125-152fps
Lies of P , WQHD , native, max settings -> 106-133fps

Now a GTX 1080 without DLSS is half my speed
so you would get ~ 53-65 fps on max settings WQHD native with a GTX 1080

set some settings to medium or high instead of "best" and yu will be fine

Unreal 5 Engine games are too much for a GTX 1080... thats why i bought a used 2080TI.
Unreal 4 Engines are fine !

I think even my old PC (9900k/1080 TI) could have run this game at 60fps max settings locked almost all of the time. If you're playing at 1080p, you can probably max this game.

On my current setup (1440p/Ultra) with a 7900xt/13700k, I get locked 120fps...I tried playing unlocked with my refresh being 165HZ and even that can be achieved lol.
