Boss weapons

Not got that far into the game yet, but wanted to ask if boss weapons can be upgraded in anyway to.😊

Yes. With Dark Moonstones of the Covenant, and then finally, Full Moonstones of the Covenant.

Standard weapons can be reinforced to +10, boss weapons can only be reinforced to +5.
You can upgrade the handle too, but you can't alter it from the default unlike regular weapons.

Iam just worried iam going to upgrade the wrong early weapons, and pay for it later
As I upgraded the electric coil weapon twice, and must admit it's good on normal enemies so far.
