Whats a good level to stop at?

Im thinking either 55 or 60 since i just thought about over leveling otherwise i'd have stopped at 50. Im thinking 60 is a good balance to keep the game challenging.

I would say, Lvl 1. Then you don't have to deal with the crashing and game exits every 30 min. In fact, refunding prior to playing more than 2 hours would be the way to go right now. Cause you may not have issues but you may and by the time you find out the game crashes every 30 min for eternity it will be too late to refund.

I completely agree, I was exactly level 80 when I fought Laxasia and it was terrible. I decided to not use summons this run so just me and the horror that is Laxasia The Complete…The only saving grace was the fire grinder thing

at my 380 lvl I still thought that is not enough

Finished the game at lvl 69 (because funni) and I´d say anything up to 100 isn´t "overleveled" for the first playthrough. Character Levels in General don´t matter nearly as much as Weapon Level and P-Organ imo.
The only Bosses that took a few more tries were Puppet King and especially Laxasia she´s by far the hardest Boss to me. Funny enough I killed Nameless Puppet on the first try completely blind and yes I am very proud of that.

Im not even using summons but dude endorphin rush you get when beating these bosses is top notch. Some of the hardest and best fights ive seen in any soulslike including DS/ER. Its funny cause you know when you die in a boss fight sometimes you'll start to feel really annoyed. I oddly dont feel that in this game.

100% agree with you I haven´t had this much fun with Bossfights in a long time.
Only Boss that kinda sucks is Black Rabbit Brotherhood because ganks are always ♥♥♥♥ Design but it´s still alright and totally managable. The quality of the other Bosses more than make up for it.
