LOVE this game..but the dodge and parry timing
This game so far is seriously great and all I could have hoped for. However, two things stick out majorly. The biggest is the length of the dodge. It’s so short that the opportunity for iframes is nil and it simply doesn’t feel good trying to dodge enemy attacks.

The second (and not as important imo but still should be addressed) is the parry/perfect dodge window. Especially with the dodge being so short I feel like using it as a fall back sometimes is necessary but the timing is so wonky it doesn’t really make sense. Sometimes it feels like Sekiro and if you hit LB right before it hits you it works..then other times it simply doesn’t.

Please devs..fix these two issues for full release. I see a lot of toxic feedback and I hate that because this game looks like it’ll turn out amazing. But with such a short dodge I honestly don’t feel a want to go back to it right now which is a real shame.

there's a mechanic that'll make the game really easy for you.

im used to all of the souls game style dodges and it took a good minute for me to adjust to but by the final boss of the demo i was understanding the dodges really well timing wise and i NEVER parry anything or block in these games because i suck at it, but i was able to get some really good perfect parrys as well by the end on the final boss of the demo which was cool. Overall i felt the same at first but had to just put my mind in the place of "this isnt a souls game" and it helped lol

I suppose it's just because the animations are fair and smooth, not like in DS3 where bosses fake their attacks or make the animations slower than it should really be
