Feedback on HDR
I'm glad this has HDR support! Some feedback on the settings:

The #1 most important thing! Please allow a setting for display output nits above 1000. Plenty of displays have brightness above 1000 nits. For example mines is 1500, I would say at least enable the setting to go to 2000 but future proofing and having higher is never a bad thing (though I think UE only has a tonemapping setting for 2000...).

The way brightness setting works doesn't make sense for HDR, instead of increasing the brightness additively it seems to just clamp darker values? The image shouldn't look faded as a result. A brightness setting for HDR should work a bit differently and doesn't need to clamp dark values as a result, just make the influence of the existing lighting stronger, like exposure not brightness alone. But maybe this is an engine limitation I guess... And this is also just my opinion on the setting.

As a result the contrast setting probably wouldn't be needed as as is imo the setting isn't helpful.

Also I noticed settings for raytracing in the config, I would really like to try that but I guess thats a launch thing for later...

Oh also one more thing unrelated to HDR, please add an option to increase the LOD distance, it is WAY too short for some objects it causes pop in right in front of the character.
Yeah, I had to turn off HDR to make darks visible in the starting area. Even on the max brightness it was too dark in those areas. I've never had this sort of issue in other games.

I'm not sure why some displays have issues with HDR with some content, for me the black levels weren't much different between HDR and SDR.

If you don't mind, what does your advanced display information say (should see this in your resolution settings)

Maybe you need to adjust the contrast setting to be lower?

I've seen a few things that can affect this.

HDMI black level being set to low.

Your monitor needing a firmware update

Using windows display calibration: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9N7F2SM5D1LR

I've never personally dealt with this to know for sure tho. But maybe it has something to do with the difference between TV's and monitors? Or the variance in quality between models...
