The Police man at Elysion Boulevard

Am I the only one having a hard time defeating that damn police man at elysion boulevard? I had no trouble with the first boss or the other enemies, however this "miniboss" is just kicking my ass no matter what..Tried parrying but it really feels inconsistent and the guy never stops attacking, my stamina drains too fast, I don't know and I have seen youtube videos of people just running by him and not fighting him..so ..

I really don't know what I'm doing wrong against this guy, nothing works. Other than this, I've been enjoying the game.

He is difficult. Maybe he's supposed to teach that running away is sometimes an option. But I did defeat him properly eventually. As with other games, it's important to read his combos and not try to sneak in more hits than you know you can - until you stagger him, then you can land a few extra.

Plus you might need to level up a bit - and if you're running the game at more than 60fps, it's significantly more difficult right now. Try turning it down to 60.

Thanks, I just defeated him. After beating the mad donkey I went back to him with the electric coil with a modified handle and did it in the first try, but yeah maybe I needed to level up a bit as well.

I was definitely struggling with this guy too and I just said F it and ran past him. I'm passed the Mad Donkey, gave the woman her "baby". I think I'm level 31 or so.
