I'm trying the demo specifically because I wanted to mess with the video settings
7950X
7900 XTX (Primary)
A750 (Encoder)
Decided to try swapping from my 7900 XTX to the A750 and it started up no problem, so this is definitely an AMD GPU sided issue. Driver is as up to date as can be currently, no overclocking as well.
It's not. It either crashes or bluescreens my PC, I've got a 4090 with a 13700k.
Upon swapping back to the 7900 XTX it is now working, so something strange is definitely happening regardless.
Should have been specific I guess, I meant about it being AMD.
Found a fix though:
4090 with a Ryzen 9 7950X3D
so im trying to open the game but when i launch the game, the game open like game is opened and its on taskbar as well, but the game is not working at all it can open but its just black screen with no background music or no sound at all its just black screen and nothing happens, and when i open the task manager its says "not responding" on lies of p. I cant even see the main menu and i can guarantee that i can at least open the game maybe it gonna run on 30 fps but i can open it there is no way this game can be that "heavy" to open.
i have
gtx 1050 4gb
24gb ram
intel core i7-8750H (cpu is not that good usually i can play the games that i want pretty good)
and idk if there is anything else needed but please HELP!
Sometimes it helps to fuzz the ♥♥♥♥ out of it with whatever comes to mind until a result is found. I'm glad I can reproduce it now by completely clearing the cached data and reinstalling the demo so at least it can be further diagnosed. Behaviors like this are legitimately strange to deal with and not always obvious, so any detail is good.
Can both of you do me a favor and try using your iGPU (the motherboard one) and see what the result is? Just curious to see what happens.

Ryzen 4650g
RX 6600
5800X, 3080Ti, 32GB RAM, nvme 3.0, win10 which is the recommended OS. Nv driver 531.61 but there's nothing in the latest driver release notes that says anything about Lies of P so no optimizations for the game exist yet.
From what I see, my game skips shader compilation entirely and compiles them "on the fly" during game. It had massive impact with defer dxvk[Vulcan] I've tried at first, but it works almost seamlessly with async one. So if you can't run game anyway - maybe try running it on Vulkan instead of DX12 as well? Works fine for me.
