All Hidden Moonstones?

so my friend got his weapon to +3 and i think had some left over but I got to +2 and need one more to get to +3, i did some running around and couldnt find anymore, i beat the last boss in demo. Are they really well hidden or am i blind af? or mb they can be a very rare drop?
