it works well with proton 8.0-2, but I would love a native version.

A drm-free, linux native version published on GOG would be perfection.

Native games sooner or later will have issues. I'm completely fine with proton, works amazingly.

proton is ghetto emulation, i prefer an actual linux version meant for the OS.

Your contact page uses GOOGLE FORMS! 💩 🪰

I support a native build for the GNU operating system, but I sure as hell don`t support you and your contradictions.

I know it uses proton but it runs amazing on the Deck. Love this game.

My experience with Linux ports is pretty spotty. Some work like they should, some stumble a bit, some struggle a bit more, and others just plain don't launch or are a slide-show until they crash. Plus, a Linux version would need continued support alongside the Windows release. I'm of the opinion that developer time is better spent verifying Wine/Proton support or compatibility rather than porting.

Apart from a couple of failures to launch while testing out different versions of Proton, Lies of P ran perfectly fine for me using Proton 8.0-2 and proprietary Nvidia drivers.
