I reached the GorDrillas, and while I was able to kill both of them, it took a few tries, and when I restarted the fight their health meter would already be depleted - although that didn't seem to have any meaningful effect on how many hits they take. It just doesn't launch

on the first level, by the first checkpoint there's a brick wall, you can jump to it and leave the screen like it was the end of the level, but it's not and you get trapped off screen. I had to restart the game, thankfully I started right at that checkpoint and went down the pit like you are supposed to....
