astral frost cavern expedition Best Pal to use ?

what are the best pal to use for the astral frost cavern expedition ?
trying to farm ancient core i am lvl 57 and havent found a single one yet
i dont want todo those oil rig lvl 60 yet and i hate dungeon xD
i aslo have to start terraria island

Just whatever has the most firepower. Specific pals dont matter in expeditions beyond meeting the requirement of 20 of a specific type. You just wanna get that bonus reward % as high as possible.

High level and ranking up help, I don't know if anything else plays into bringing up the percent but a proper max-star pal gives a decent bonus if you want to spend 116 cakes on a pal that won't be in your main party.

its been a while but i recall condensing pals lead to very high power in expeditions

Yeah Thats Right, Alphas also help the FP Somewhat too, if you got alphas laying around that are decent, use them as well.

different expeditions call for different elements to be sent, keep that in mind. i would take about 20-30 (100 max, for best results) of every element the expeditions ask for. Then lvl them all up as high as possible, that way all bases would be covered for any/all expeditions.

you CAN send off-element pals, but im not sure it will increase your drop percentage.

vanwyrm crystals, they are ice and dark, you will be able to use it on feybreak after too.

i went frostalion breeding farm i got 3 x 3star for 150k total firepower just enough to get 130% reward
finaly i will be able to get those large scale breeding pod

You only really care about pal level, stats per level and condensation for expedition rewards. Mostly the condensation, you get (1 + condensation level) ^ 2 multiplier to expedition firepower. It doesn't matter what pal element it is, you get a bunch of the element that is required (lv 1 trash can be enough) and then your beefed up pals fill the rest. You can get max rewards with a lot less than 100 pals. Frostallion noct has the highest base stats and is the best pal for expedition farming. But you won't use it for anything else so breeding a lot of whatever you want anyways works just fine. If you breed a dedicated raid boss army, it will be a great expedition team when not doing any raid.
